I know all I need to know about anti knife plates for the front doors.

My question is ' do owners of PVC's also fit one to the handle mechanism on the rear doors?
Does the rear door suffer the same weakness?

It's a relatives van and I'm wondering if I should recommend a rear plate or an internal security bolt like the one featured in the Camperprotect range of products.

Would you please advise........

You may wish to read riverbankannie's excellent description including rear door; search:

Thank you , I had not found this article.
I'll ask my friend if she wants a proplates on the outside or a set of brackets on the inside.

If the rear door has a lock then it is susceptible to the screwdriver attack ( to access the unlocking arm ) and would benefit from a plate. Our van only has a key on the drivers door and so that's the only door I've fitted a plate to.

Haven't found a 'flat' plate to suit the rear door but as someone over on the 'Temu' thread mentions , you could easily flatten out one intended for the front doors.
Again it has been mentioned in the same thread that whilst there maybe nothing there on the passenger door, the proplate provides a visual deterrent not to try it.

Yeah , I thought about doing that to the rear door but then you probably need to do the side door and passenger door too , a lot of hassle and a bit more expense for something the thieves probably already know .😉
