A few years now
We've not tried these campsites https://www.awayresorts.co.uk/touring-camping/ so don't know how nice they are but owned by Away Resorts who also own Sandy Balls which had a good reputation (apart from high season prices ) but is now statics only.
Picked up this leaflet with 5% discount code NEC19CT at the recent NEC Show - bookings have to be a minimum of 2 nights & code expires 31 March 2019.

Been moho’ing for a time now
We’ve been to Whitecliffs Bay, Tattershall Lakes and Sandy Balls, As wombles has already said Sandy Balls is now statics only. At Whitecliffs they have two pools a superb bar/restaurant and their own private beach, we didn’t venture DOWN there because of the walk back UP, overall a very good site, Tattershall Lakes, again it has a pool, a good bar/restaurant, the theme here is the Spitfire hanging in the bar, some massive lakes, BUT, an R.A.F. air base more or less next door, OK if you like jets, Sandy Balls was also very good, a great pity that it’s now only statics, obviously business

I suspect that away leisure will follow the money as they have at sandy balls and gradually turn all these sites into static only sites

The first time we went to Whitecliffs Bay there 3 touring fields, the last time we were there, which was a couple of years ago, there was only 1 touring field left, the other 2 were full of the bungalow type accommodations ?
