One of the "reading" lights has failed and needs replacing. Easy I thought..just unscrew, disconnect wires, replace and reconnect with the new one.
However the wiring is so tight I cannot gain access to disconnect. I think I will have to remove the plastic cover that the light is mounted on. It looks like a push fit into the bottom of the overhead locker. It is a very tight fit and I don't want to break it. Does anyone know, for sure, how it is attached to the bottom of the locker please?

Would it be worth a try removing the other light that probably runs in sequence, see how tight that one is, tape or tie some string/wire to it, pull enough through to do the work and then pull back through and refit the ok one?

Just had a look at our 2012 E562 and the grey plastic panel has two screws along it facing down and towards the side window/wall.

M-J thanks for response. The light is at the end of cable run unfortunately. I'll go hunting for screws!!
