All that really shows is how much effort John puts into the Bash and has done so for many years. Other factors in his life are also a huge drain and John, like the rest of us, is not as young as he was when he started these events I think about 2 decades ago.
Just upset that with my own difficulties, I am no longer able to stand with him to help out but I know many others are so thank you if that's you.
Looks like a lot of fun but sadly more important things to do today. It was nice to meet funsters some new to us some not.
Hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend and will see you at the next one.
Dennis and Steph.
Thank you for organising the rally again. I had to leave Sunday because of grandchildren. Disappointed with Swaffham auction, but understand why canceled. See you next year.
I am lucky to even be here this year and on the hopeful road to recovery, but oh so happy that we made it!
It's a great event and you can dip in and out as much as you like and with my energy levels on treatment that suits us perfectly!
Organising events like this takes exponentially more time than you ever think it will and it's great to see helping hands getting involved such as;
- taking the auction mike for a while,
- providing some sounds and singing, - dragging our beloved Peds out of storage. - and cooking a huge quantity of dinners for us all today (lovely by the way ladies).
