Having just acquired a new motorhome I had this company apply their ceramic coating on day two of delivery. I had been waiting in total 15 months from order to delivery so was able to check out what was available. I chose this company for a number of reasons. They seem to specialise in expensive motorcycle applications and my thoughts were if such, often fanatical, owners were happy to let them work on their beloved machines then it must be pretty good. People travel great distances it would appear for the work to be carried out. They also advertised doing caravans and motorhomes and I followed them on Instagram, where they posted almost daily photos of their applications. The pre and after photos were simply outstanding with regards to their technicians skills and dedication to getting good results. I was impressed to say the least.

At the time they were having a very special offer so I paid a deposit and left my booking to be decided once the new van arrived, an Adria Twin. Unfortunately this was very much delayed, due to the pandemic, but I was pleasantly surprised by their willingness to extend my discounted booking timeframe to accommodate the ongoing delays.

Shortly prior to my vans arrival they moved to their newly purpose built premises at Dronfield, Derbyshire from Sheffield. I arranged to attend on the day of delivery and they kept my van overnight in their secure premises and the CEO Darren Johnson, took us to a friends close by before we went to our local hotel at Chesterfield. The following day the work was carried out and then Darren came to Chesterfield to collect us around 1630 to take us back to his premises.

All the exterior, solar panel and interior upholstery and carpets were treated.

The van looked amazing and the attention to detail was apparent. Darren was really enthusiastic about the whole process and his and the Operations Manager, Sarah Scott's, commitment to customer service just oozed everywhere. It couldn't be faulted. He was keen to hear of our past travels and our intended future travels in the new van. He became aware of our use of the forum and to my surprise offered fellow members a substantial £150 discount off a ceramic coating, as priced on their website.

He gave me a discount code to add at online booking so if any members wishes to use their services then PM me and I shall send you the code, I don't want to just publish it here as it was intended for Motorhomefun paid members. I must add he did say after he made this unsought offer that should he get a number of takers I may receive a M&S gift voucher, but I don't think it was an incentive as I had already said I would put a review on our website as many people would likely be keen to know of my experience.

Their website is HERE

It is too early to say what the benefits are but I must say the van still feels silky smooth to the touch so I am hoping it will be easier to clean and keep clean. My car has Autoglym Lifetime shine and after 3.5 years has never needed polishing and the water still beads on it like day one. That product, I believe, is carbon based and this ceramic is much stronger. We shall see how it washes next week before we head off for a couple of months touring and that may be a tester for how good it is. My motivation for getting it coated was to help reduce the work and pain I suffer, as I get older, keeping it spic and span. We swill pend on average 5 months a year in it travelling so I saw it as a good investment.

I'm hoping Jim may wish to add my review to the list of companies that have been reviewed by members.

I know it is very early days but I was so impressed today that I wanted to add an update. The coating is now 3 weeks old, the van has done about 250 miles mainly on motorway so I expected some diesel vapour contamination and I store it in a farming community. Today it was covered with all the debri from harvesting & bailing of the adjacent field.

I waited for the shade to come on it before washing with my usual ph neutral car shampoo using a soft brush. The roof was hard to do because of all the roof furniture but the rest was easy. I started by just hosing it down and couldn’t believe how clean it looked after that alone, let alone after the shampoo, rinsing as I went along.

The water just ran off and I then dried it off using a micro fibre mop head, for cleaning floors, over a light weight screen cleaning pole I bought in Spain. Yes it didn’t dry off perfect as the cloth became to wet but again I was very surprised how well it did look and dry. The paintwork was silky to the touch and the plastic trim looked really great.

Overall much easier to do and a better finish than my old Motorhome, which wasn’t coated, and the finish is fantastic for the effort used. I think I have made a really good decision getting it coated and choosing Supremecoat.

Whilst I don’t use a jet wash on my vehicles I bet a quick once over at the supermarket, being careful with the windows etc, would get it looking great if you couldn’t get to wash it properly, like when your touring.

That looks really good😁
Only problem is they seemed to have buffed it that much they’ve buffed off your number plate☹️
😁😁

Just washed it after the 6 week tour of Scotland starting mid August & stored since getting back. Hosepipe ban prevented doing it any sooner. I was really pleased how clean the van kept during the 2k mile trip and how easy it was to clean now.

Well we managed to get the wifes car booked in and after leeving it with them for 7 hours we were thoroughly impressed with the results.
So much do that ill be having my BMW R1200 Gsa done in a few weeks.
Lovely couple that own the business and great lads doing the hard graft.

Just done 8 weeks in Spain, some very dusty sites along tge Mediterranean, and am convinced the van us cleaner than my previous non coated van. Also it cleaned off really easy at the commercial car jet wash and dried great with a microfibre mop head.

Still pleased with our Supreme coating. Done last November and seems to be holding up

well here in Spain. Washing is a lot easier and all the nasties just come off with a sponge or brush including any black streaks. Got it done primarily for the UV protection so time will tell if it's money well spent. Second the microfibre cloth to dry. Easy to wipe and no marks.
Don't forget your discount code from royandsharont.

Just looked at the cost😱

Just looked at the cost😱
I went to the Peterborough show. Bought a set of cleaning stuff from Parrotsol. Jezport on the forum. £40

Wash down first then spent a steady enjoyable day polish and waxing. Has brought the van up a treat looks great and it looks like I've saved most of the cost of my 90 days in France.

Our van is a 3 year old Adria Coral it looks as good now as it did when we got it.

To be honest I personally could not justify spending £1600 on a ceramic coating.

I've used about 25% of what we bought so 4 cleans for £40 and a bit of elbow grease..

Think somebody has misquoted or is taking the p.....

That is the price on their website for a used van, only £1000 for a new one.

None of these coatings are very expensive it's the labour time you are paying for. So if you have some time and don't mind hard work do it yourself and save a fortune.

One thing that concerned me was the OP said they did the solar panels, you should never coat or polish solar panels with anything as it will reduce their efficency by reflecting the sun.

Well just have a look at the website. It’s on there so no p… take here.
I said my van is 3 years old and that’s the price.

Why would I say it if it wasn’t on the website

They could half the price and it would still be a no

I paid £650 for my new car, so price doesn't seem too bad. One thing to consider if anyone is attempting to do it themselves, is that most ceramic coatings require a period of curing time in a dry environment, so you have to be really sure it's not going to rain. I am considering getting it for the new MH.

5 years in the Williams ceramic coat still makes the MoHo look new, at the time it was £500 and would pay again to have it done it’s worth every £ the review of this company looks good and whilst it’s a high cost they have their own clean workshop etc. can’t recommend ceramic coating enough whoever you buy it from

No way would chuck away a grand+ whatever it is, my lad coated my roof, and full cab for me foc, after I washed it off with wash and wax on Thurs just gone.
Was a gorgeous day, got up at 5am out by 6am clean it, he turned up at 8.30 coated the roof and cab, then left it in the sunshine all day, looked mint on Friday tbf then left for IOW on Friday about 1pm. Noticed the dreaded bugs on front end, but next morning we set off for Portsmouth ferry after overnight stop over and low and behold it lashed it down just as we were bording.
The screen and whole front end was completely de-bugged, saved me a job thank God 🙏
The ironic thing is you don't have to spend a fortune to get good results, also agree with Lenny Roy, get your solar panel degreased as anyone who coats a solar panel doesn't have a clue what they are doing.
P.s. Roof Pic on drive at home and cab Pic as of now on IOW.

The company did advertise doing commercial solar farms etc not sure about now though

Don't do glass or solar, everything else is fine, plastic roof lights and side windows no problem. Just get a 2nd opinion on your solar panel as I only ever wash and wax it !
Hope you loving the Adria as we are Roy, they are such great value compared to the German's 🤷‍♂️👌🤣

Not sure why you think you shouldn't do solar. I doubt it reflects much energy. BUT it will help keep the panels cleaner which will improve the output.

Just not recommended Gromett, light wash and hose off only clear any bird shit etc . . . Then let them do their job as they have their own protection built in 🤷‍♂️

Hi royandsharont,
We're considering getting our MH ceramic coated. Did SupremeCoat also polish and treat the acrylic windows? Did they treat the screen and solar panel and if so was it a different coating? We're looking seriously at PP Protect too but that's further to travel.
About to message you re: supremecoat discount code 👍. I'm a full MHF member. Thanks.

thanks for the input, ours is a work van and last thing I want is blistering paint on our wheels. Besides just buy a new set every 24 months with brand new tyres for price of 2 tyres when someone has ruined their ride with 20s.
This is supposed to be a review on supreme coating...
