Hi, don't know if you had experience with these...but you need to cut the old tube out first, which is a bit of a waste for a pin hole puncture......also a bit of a pain to fit....

im a not so newbie
Just looked at these as I’ve never heard of them before.

Seems a good concept but imho a bit point less.
As you can fix a puncture without taking a wheel out.

Ir go tubeless or use a slime tube.

Good idea but as others have said why waste a tube for a pin hole, and no need to remove wheel for a puncture repair. We had a puncture while out, flipped the bike and repaired the inner tube while on the bike.

They are very expensive.

You'd have to find it really awkward to remove the wheel.
The same checks for cause of puncture will be needed.
And as said above, in most scenarios a puncture can be repaired with the wheel in place.

And tubeless a sealant/puncture repair solution works well.

not long enough
We have them, never had success with repairs particularly on the move and the idea of removing a rear wheel with gears is way above my ability

once swapped to this style And you carry a spare as we do, they can then be mended If you have correct skills, so initial cost is only extra cost đź‘Ť
