When our trip was going well, we overnighted here. It was a lovely peaceful spot - a huge car park in the woods, built to serve an 1930's Art Deco lido by the Rhine. There was parking for over a thousand vehicles, but when we were there there were two other vans and a couple of dog walkers. I expect it might get busier after the end of April, when the lido opens. Owls were a bit vocal, but otherwise very quiet. We would love to go back.
There were regular trams, but I didn't check where they went to.
