stayed over night at giverny car park opposite Claude Monet house, got the tickets for the gardens and house on line,and we were allowed in 15minutes before the main entrance opened. We'll worth it.

Not a bad view from the island aire at Amboise, busy site with only one other brit, off for a trek around the castle tomorrow

ile d'oleron this afternoon, the chateau aires nearly fully, never seen so many motorhomes here.not many bits.

Just visited the mechanical elephant at Nantes, what a brilliant day, even the trams were free at the weekend.

Staying at a nice village called Change, as our Original aires just down the road is shut until December

Have been looking at the long range forecast and it’s not looking to bad. Bit cold at night but that doesn’t bother us. Just really pleased to be child free for a week and off to France in the moho for first time

Just pulled into Cerisy la foret to discover a sculpture park next to the aire

Cerise la Foret Abbey, I think we were the first visitors the guide had today, €6 to look round

Stopped at the new memorial for the D day landings. The position,size and beauty was very moving.

Enjoying our anniversary meal in Honfleur,same restaurant and same table as 6 years ago.
