Having returned from our two weeks tour in France, (and several shorter trips during the winter), today we started the spring clean!

All lockers being emptied, things not used recently or not required for a trip to warmer climes removed and, “if it doesn’t move, polish it, if it does move lubricate it” routine instituted. Thorough clean of upholstery and carpets and then re spray with stain protection.

Strange how “housework” in the motorhome seems more pleasurable than in the house!

After the tribulations of Eunice , (sounds like the title for a porn film), it is satisfying just to be doing things in the motorhome.

Does anyone else get satisfaction from cleaning the m/h or is it just me?

Can i bring ours round so you can get additional satisfaction... 😁
Hope you had a great trip 👍

wasn’t that the one with ‘chesty’ Morgan in it……..?;)

The fact that I can polish every piece of wood within 2 hours, clean all of the carpets in 20 minutes and wash every pot, pan and plate in 10 minutes definitely makes spring cleaning more appealing. All six of the windows can be reached from the ground and are mainly less than 1m x 0.5m.

If anyone would like to discover how easy it is to clean my van, I'm opening a booking system and allowing the first 5 applicants an opportunity to experience this free of charge. :giggle:

I am the only one who washes ours. I love doing it when I have plenty of time and will spend all day or even two days when I have time for the full Monty. Wash dry polish and wax. (y)

Looks like I can come out of retirement and start a detailing business.

No motorhome turned away.

Clean inside and out only £1650 per unit. + cost of materials + VAT.

Full Polish and wax extra.:giggle:

I enjoy getting out MH back on the drive after being in storage, with it's weekly/ fortnightly run outs.
We completely strip it for storage, ( spare room stacked up) so all bedding, everything washed pressed, clean whole MH inside, hubby does outside, then help finish inside, the thought of it won't be long, work and holiday allowance permitting until, were out and about again  love a good clean ::bigsmile:
