@ Jim

Is it me or has the spell checker functionality disapeared?

Or was it never there

Am lazy a writer and need this, any chance you could include it please.

Thanks in advance

I still get told spilling errors in iOS on an iPad
I expect it’s a client side tool implementation not server side.

edit. It’s a good idea to not have real spelling errors with a joke one...

No spell checkers on Android just predictive text.

Yes your right, but at least whilst I have some issues with spelling predictive Text gives me the option to select/compare.

not always correct and can be frustrating when you actually want to write Something it doesn’t recognise.

cheers

Think you need to install a spell checker on your browser.

Have you tried grammarly?
Works for android and pc, not only corrects spellings but also grammar.

I'm sad I know but I do wonder why we are seeing so many errors these days in print and the web, especially social media/forums; even dear old BBC get it wrong regularly. I'm particularly fond of moaning to anyone in earshot about it...

There instead of their
Advise instead of advice
Your instead of you're
To instead of too
...

It's a long list, not helped by predictive text and a reliance on it, and other spell (not grammar) checkers I expect.

Suspect I'm a bit OCD on this; God help me when I attempt to level our new motorhome, could be at it for weeks interspersed with grumbling about and wanting to rewrite folks posts :p

Anyway, I believe the answer is as already stated; it's a device based thing and the browser you use makes a difference too. I fall foul if I'm in a hurry, especially when using the phone, so will check out Grammarly...
