Spanish TV Ad about using a mobile phone whilst driving.

Why can't we have adverts like this in the UK.
It reads:
See you , do not see you ... They are not your eyes or it's magic borragia. It is what might happen if you neglect the attention while driving by looking at the Mobile #móvil , although "occasionally". Driving #PasaDelMóvil #UnGranGesto you can save lives.

We need some laws forbidding this.. and some sort of organisation to enforce these laws.. we could call them 'Law Enforcement Officers'.. it'll never catch on though..

I was just gonna say sure we do have graphic road traffic adds here , but yip you guessed it i live in N.Ireland.

Its a quick SHOCK, but quickly forgotten, driving whilst using a mobile phone is very common in Spain, and I am sure it is elsewhere.
The only way to reduce this is to catch the offenders in the act, and fine or ban them....

it is the texting while driving that scares the beejeezus out of me, you see them heads pointing to their laps for several seconds at a time

whilst I don't condone using phones, I have never known how anybody can unwrap, light, smoke and dispose of a cigarette safely while driving, too many distractions all round

good ad though, this sort of thing sometimes creeps through on TV clips from around the world type programs, but with so many dash cams now fitted, maybe following serious accidents or even near misses, which are effectively very nearly the same thing, the footage should be released

That D I C ad was such a shock to the Aussies, there was also another featuring a few young females in a car that had the same effect it made the young fellas sit up and notice.

Will you ever see such a thing on UK telly? NO!
The Drink Driving and using a mobile phone Laws while driving here and the implementation of the laws banning such are just a joke.
