Have any of you bold spirits visited Monasterio San Juan de la Pera in Aragon Spain, last time we went we went up a 1 in 4 road, and gave up as the rear end was catching the ground, is there an easier way?

I've not been to it but a look on the map suggests you can approach from the east or west. Using Google Street view you can see what the road is like in each direction.

You can get a bus from Jaca so it can't be too steep but reports on TripAdvisor suggest the road is steep and I guess they were written by folk in cars.

Might be worth stopping at the nearest campsite for a night and asking at reception - they may be able to organise transport. :)

Sorry. I though you might have been there on your travels. You DID go to a monestary though, didn't you?

It was the Monestario de Piedra - which is nothing special but the walk, often underground, through the park and caves is worth the visit.

No but you might want to read the Google reviews on it first
