Hi there! Just arrived back from Spain and thought you might be interested in this free parking in Blanes on the Costa Brava. We have used it for the last 2 years and although the camping car sign has gone it is still permissible to park there for 48 hours. It is at the back of a huge carpark behind a sports hall on the sea front near the tourist information. There is a small personhole cover, (trying to be P.C.)!! which hides a toilet disposal point. It is only a short walk to the centre of the town and there is an excellent restaurant across the main road, (behind the camera) called Cullar. The waiters speak English and a really good starter together with bread and extra nibbles which are complimentary, fillet steak with all the trimmings and a bottle of nice wine will set you back about 20 € for two. :thumb:
