Spain 37 degrees and raining 😳

Now I know the weather is all to cock as when driving to Jaen in Spain today it was 37 degrees and raining, only for 5 mins mins mind but had the wipers on full blast to clear the screen but I had the wipers on full blast to clear the screen
It’s 23.25 now and it’s still 30 degrees

Oh, please can we have some rain sir!! Desperate here near Mojacar. We were supposed to get some on Friday but no. Very windy now but clear blue skies.

We’ve between the border and Valencia (coast & inland) for a few weeks now. With the exception of a thunderstorm in Teruel, we’ve seen no rain and temperatures typically in mid/high 20s. Peak was 32c but didn’t last long. Cool at night, no problems sleeping

We left home mid-April to travel Strasbourg, Lucerne, Lugano, Lake Garda, Zurich, Strasbourg, Rheims and home mid June. So far n 7 weeks we have had only 9 dry days whatever country we’ve been in. The Rhine overflowed yesterday and two camping fields are now under 8 foot of water!
