Hi new member.
Can anybody advise us on some camp sites. We are looking to visit 3 sites in either the se or sw trying to put together a little mini tour. No further than 15 mins from the beach. Any advice would be much appreciated.
Kind regards

since 2014!
We liked the C&CC site at Folkstone - a 2 minute walk from the beach, lovely walks into Folkstone and the surrounding country. Really nice folk in the office.

If you are heading down as far as HAYLE in Cornwall, Have a look at this site,
http://www.gwithianfarm.co.uk

One of the best beaches in Cornwall a short walk from the back of the site and a great pub opposite

Can you please advise if it has narrow roads or high trees on the road to it? Have a long van and not too brilliant at reversing on narrow and windy roads as on my own. :(

No it's not too bad at all, Joy.

The main road from Hayle has lots of big caravan sites on it and Gwithian is at the top of that road.

You will have no problem with your van. It’s only a short drive past the caravan club site. We have a 7.5 m and 3.0 m tall van and had no issues. Lots of large vehicle servicing the village and beyond
