Our van had a Phantom tracker and an alarm from a different company already fitted when we bought it.
When the old one went wrong after a few years we had the tracker replaced by Phantom (home visit) with the latest version which we can monitor through an app. It works fine, notifying me to my phone quickly when the van is moved (even a friendly notice when the motion sensor is off) and is pretty accurate when it comes to location.

Just insist that the dealer doesn't use any wireless sensors or plug it into the OBD port making it non Thatcham complainant

I contacted them last year as I had Eddie booked in but had to cancel due to lockdown, kept chasing and finally got a quote then the fitter did not contact me then he allegedly broke his wrist.
This was December and I had a call about 3 weeks ago to see if I still wanted it booked in for fitting!!

Told them what I thought of their service

Went down to Vanbitz in the summer to have the Growler and Tracker fitted and they made a perfect job of it.
With the Tracker I went on the tunnel a few weeks back turned the engine off and within a minute of the train moving they had called me to say my van has been detected moving,someone forgot to go on the app in select travel mode

I think you are describing the Phantom sentinel ultimate except that it is Thatcham approved.
