I going to fit a sony blu ray and humax freesat box into the motorhome, both use 240 > 12 volt power bricks, I have 12 volts power in the cubaord where Im going to fit them, but no 240 scokets, I do have a inverter, if I power the units from 12 volts will I need to install a stabaliser to stop them getting over voltage when the batteries are at 13+ volts or would it be best to abandaon any idea of 12 volt supply and get a couple of mains sockets fitted ( not easy routing)

There seems to be a power take off piont on the oyster decoder allready in situ is this suited to suppling other units.

If they are both 12v, then you only need one stabiliser feeding the 12v sockets that supply your devices. But yes, I would fit a stabiliser regulator.
