Solved - chausson habitation door not working

Only took me 6 months to figure out but ... if you manually apply the habitation door lock and then shut the door it will unlocks by central locking but not relock . To fix it manually lock it again , unlock by the key fob and lock by the key fob

Thank you, I'll try and remember, often unlock with key but rarely lock it that way..

My Peugeot key fob has given up the ghost but the key itself if put in the driver's door, will lock all doors including the habitation door. But it doesn't unlock the habitation door. In a Bailey, not a Chausson so not sure if your suggestion applies.

When you say “manually apply the hab door lock” do you mean shut the door and use the key in the hab lock, or do you mean through the handle on the inside of the door and shut it.......or what?

What's central locking?

An expensive option not worth having.
Never bothered with it as I don't want it on the garage and only use the hab door so £400 for one door no way.

Did you get to the bottom of locking the Hv door remotely I’m having the same problem

Yes , it’s a combo of using the drivers cab door key to “manually” lock the door and then open with the fob and close again . - it’s been a while but pretty sure that was it
