I have a solar panel controlled by a Epsolar 10A controller marked PWM and EPHC.

I have mislaid all the paperwork. The device has three horizontal leds on the left hand side, the two leftmost being green and the righthand one red.

There is also a switch on the left hand side accompanied by a red led.

Can anyone tellme what these leeds mean>?

Hoew do I know when the panel is charging and when it isn't?

Similar to the one in the link below

Many thanks.

The 2 green are in fact 1 Yellow and 1 Green. Pappajon from memory told me what they were but i cant remenber.

on the one in your link...
the left one shows there is power from the solar panel and will be lit in daylight hours.
the center one shows state of charge...flashing green shows charging...steady green shows fully charged

the right one glows steady redish orange when the battery state is low.
it does have another function but i cant remember what it is.

the far right (which on mine is red) with the button switch is for connecting a light load. IE: phone charger/cupboard light for dark cupboards etc

Hi Oldun,

I had the same as you last week click Link Removed and you can print off the instruction manual

Hi there

Many thanks to you all for the splendid support - as usual.

I asked because I suddenly had this strange idea that the panel was not charging. However it obviously was.

I have just got back from 2 months in France and was appalled by the site of the countryside being burnt dry.

Just before coming home I was in the Allier region of France and the last month has been (about) three weeks of rain followed by 1 week of heat s everything there is wonderfully green and growing at a alarming rate.

I got home lunchtime today and the first job, after partial unpacking, was to was my very filthy campervan.
