I am sure some one must have faced this problem before. I am trying to source a narrow (ish) solar panel to fit to my MH roof. I am looking for something around 100w (or 2 x 50w) to charge my leisure battery. I am struggling to find one that is narrow enough to fit on the roof space because i have two roof lights. I have looked on lots of websites but can find what i am looking for. The largest flat space on my roof is about 63cm x 115cm.
Can anyone help

I fitted a narrow 100W panel but sadly the Italian company who made it are no longer in business. I did find an alternative but will need to search for it, if they are still available.

Here you are. Not cheap but this was about what I paid, allowing for inflation.

Have you tried sunstore.co.uk ,they stock and fit many motorhome solar panels and may be able to get one if they do not have one in stock.

I bought a 100w folding sand-up one which I put on the ground outside the van and can angle to the sun.
It gives me at LEAST twice as much as the one on the roof, usually 3 times..
£110 and comes with its own regulator. I fitted an external plug which I connected to the Hab batteries only.
Un plug it and stow it away.
Mitch.
PS. It folds in half obviously.

You could put on 2 smaller ones which would work out cheaper than the narrow one mentioned above, you don't necessarily have to use the expensive mounts as some people use square box section tubing instead to raise the panels up. You could wire them up together or separately, the advantage of the latter being that if one fails for some reason you still have the other.
