Hi collecting our Bilbo tomorrow and first on our shopping list is a solar panel 150w .
They vary from £180 upwards what type should I be looking for?
Would prefer a semi flexible to keep height of van down but have heard mixed views.

Hmmm, only you can really decide but I bought these two yesterday after a lot of research, they arrived this morning....well surprised but look good.

Oh and :welcome4:

I’ve got a solar farm panel on my van (was a spare). 255w, got my solar gear from Photonic universe, their customer service is good for advice also.

The standalone solar panel kits that fold up could be an option.

Check out these channels on YouTube really good advice especially the Alt-e store they explain all the different types, how to wire up, which controller is best etc.
Brian from Rv with Tito (also on YouTube) had some flexible panels on his Rv and they didn’t last that long so beware.
Others have had problems with them too.

Thanks for quick replies, looks like I’ll be doing a bit of ringing around and watching you tube this weekend it’s all very exciting.
150w mono crystalline with mptt controller.
Hoping that I can thread wires in the gap at the top on my tailgate to save drilling when fitting.
