want to reduce the amount of charge to lithium batteries in the winter (keep them about 80%)I use something similar but only really to disconnect if working on something. Otherwise why would I turn off the solar in any season?

Mine is very similar but I intend to replace it with a midi fuse. Not as convenient but much safer. Those Chinese circuit breakers aren't made to any standard and I don't like leaving it unattended. Funsters have had them fail.as anyone fitted one of these, are they any good or can you advise of a better switch for my solar panels (for the winter)

If you have an app for the batteries you should be able to change the SOC on itwant to reduce the amount of charge to lithium batteries in the winter (keep them about 80%)
Oh Thanks i do have a Victron blue tooth Mppt - problem solvedIf you have a victron Bluetooth MPPT you can turn it off in victron connect if not just use a cheap double pole MCB and use as a switch should be DC rated but the amount of times you use it shouldn't be a problem if not.

No fuse required, the panel can only deliver 10 amps and the cable can handle that easilythat looks a bit more robust is that battery switch fused
