SOCKET TESTER SHOWING LIVE EARTH REVERS e

Put the hot water on evrything ok looked about an hour later socket tester that I had left in was sowinh only one lit sector the info stated LIVE EARTH REVERSE . Any ideas??

What happens if you unplug it to let it cool down then try again. They are only meant to be plugged in for a short time.
Another possibility is you have a loose connection which makes faults show up when you put a load on.
When using a socket tester it is advisable to put a highish load on the circuit to check for loose connections.
