Hi folks
As a new member, I thought I'd kick off with a question !
Has anybody had an issue with Snipe not working when travelling in the North of Scotland ?
Mine works fine South of the border and all over France, but nowt in the Highlands.
Any advice would be appreciated !

We had snipe 2 and about the only place we couldn't get it was Glencoe.

Coverage should be OK, Map shown on this seller's Advert.
Weather and trees can affect the signal.

In the far north of Scotland the dish angle is only 18° above the horizon (Astra 2). It's been known for mountains (and small trees and buildings) to obstruct the line of sight to the satellite.

Got a Snipe 2 and toured Northern (including Orkney) and Western Scotland a month or two back with no issues. Only once did it "hunt" for a while before finding the satellite (from memory) Torridon and guess it was mountains partially obstructing signal.
