Good morning, looking for info on the Truma D6 Diesel Combi.
Just had our first weekend away and noticed the smoke coming from the vent (steam train at the platform levels) when I put water heater on, space heating not running.
The smoke cleared after five mins and all seemed to be fine. I tried the hot water again when we got home and the same happened. I did run the water/heating a couple of time during lockdown and didn't notice any smoke. I would be grateful for any info/advice.
Thanks.

It could be that a small amount of diesel is getting past the injector into the combustion chamber when the heater is switched off
It will then be burnt off when you start the boiler
How old is the heater may just be needing a service?

Obvious I know but is it smoke or steam ? If it’s steam and disperses quickly then pretty normal I would say...

if it is smoke ie: something burning then you’ve got to get it checked out....

Thank you for the quick replies. I will try and get her booked in to be checked. The van is only 2x years old and Hab check carried out February this year so hopefully something straightforward.
