Hi peeps,
Our Burstner skylight above the cab has started to crack and on inspection is actually quite brittle.
I have spoken to the dealer we bought the van from and they initially told me £2500 for a new one which £1000 was covered by warranty. Told them to get it done and have now been told no stock in Europe and they can’t give me any more answers.

Has anyone got any ideas that might help? Many thanks in advance

Can't see size from pics but if smaller than largest Heki replace with Heki.

I take it that it's not a new van and it's an insurance warranty.
At that price have a stone hit it and make an insurance claim.

Yes it’s a 2008, it’s not the payment it’s the where to get a replacement that I have drawn a blank with.

which version is it? manual, electric or crank up

You could repair it temporarily with an epoxy resin, until you can find a new one.

It’s a wind up held down with four catches.
Going to get some gorilla tape for the edges.

Waiting to see if Burstner have one in stock now.

Have you seen if EECO can make you one? Could be a lot cheaper, as well as quicker, though you'll have to send them the old one as a pattern.

Even the Heki 4, electric remote control version with rain sensor is only £900

Maybe it’s because it’s curved possibly, thanks for the advice.
