its only about 1.5 hour drive so why stop?

Depending what route you take there are some nice CL's around Woolpit we stayed at Swan Lake before. Or if you go via Sudbury the C&CC site at Polstead, all depends what you want/need.

Willowmere is a nice camp, I'm not sure The Brook pub just up the road still do food, they do have a good selection of local Ales though.
