Hi, does anyone know of any campsites or places to stay that have access to an indoor swimming pool and possibly spa facilities in the uk? We fancy the idea of a spa weekend but staying in the luxury of our van instead of hotel room.
Any recommendations would be welcome.
Thanks.

When you arrive you will be given a pass to the Leisure Centre

All we ask is that you come in and have a meal in the restaurant or a drink in the bar.

Not particularly POSH but we had a rally at this site the other year and we all enjoyed it and there was only a short walk into town. On the Sunday Morning Scamelman's wife and myself had the lovely pool to ourselves ... see the photos on the link. :)

We've stayed at the Old Hall Caister twice. It's excellent and the leisure facilities are superb. You can even have a cooked breakfast in the hotel for £5 per person. So, for £15 per night, you can have electric hook up, the use of the leisure facilities and breakfast. Beat that!

Thanks for all the replies, looks like there's a few good places to look into.

Plassey Holiday Park near Wrexham has a small indoor pool. Dont think it has a spa but has a Sauna room. Also has a range of craft shops on site - that may be good or may put you off!

Is close to Chester

I don't have any ideas if you're not on a lappy as know nothing about tablets, iphones etc BUT on my lappy I can just bookmark it. I also tend to "watch" pages I'm interested in coming back to so they're easier to find.

On tablet near top on right watch this thread !!!!
Works for me

Queensberry bay, Annan has a private spa that you can book and also have spa treatments. Direct access to the beach and a golf club next door. www.queensberrybay.co.uk

as Brian said .. or

Click on the More Options in the reply box, then tick box to 'watch this thread' .. you can then find it in your 'watched threads'

I think that will work.. other option that I use is to copy paste only the relevant info into a Word Doc and save for future reference.

Another vote for Holgates at Silverdale. Great facilities, lovely cafe and in a fantastic location. It is however a bit pricey on pitch fees, but compared to a hotel then not an issue.
