Site prices

I remember on a flight where a lady travelling with a child had paid full adult fare for the child to travel comfortably. The family of 4 , 2 adult's and 2 kids sat on their laps moaned constantly about why the single child had a seat and theirs didn't. Eventually it was suggested if they want to pay for the seat they could have it.

If you are paying to park your van and thats all then fine but if you are paying for a pitch on a site with facilities then all of that has to be paid for .
More people per pitch make more rubbish, use more water, more hand soap, more toilet paper , which in turn takes more man power ....all of which cost money .
Kids don't use soap 😄

Were the 'kids' children or infants i.e. under 3 years, who travel free on parents laps? I never understood the safety implications of that in a crash as I am sure they would not have survived hitting the bulkhead.

If the 'kids' were over 2 years they should have paid for seats. If 2 years or younger I am surprised they knew how to moan.

Ah, ok, so would the proposer accept that some dogs are very small, and others rather larger, like my poodlemongrel that weighs in at 45 kg, so should their be a dog charging scale?

accepting that children are smaller adults….

Oh no - there’s enough debate about EV charging on sites - let’s not get into ‘dog charging scales’ too…….! ;)

Just at Ferry Meadows, and the CAMC policy is posted in the ablutions….if you have an EV, you must let the site know you intend to charge and pay their surcharge…also only from your MH, not directly from the EHU…

It was the parents that were moaning as their children would not sit still and they were very uncomfortable, the parents. As for the safety side at the time and it may have changed but an on lap infant was not included in the headcount my point was if you want facilities for your family you paY for it don't moan if you do it on the cheap I think a set price and then ppn for additional is fare. A van uses a pitch which cannot be used by more than one additional humans cost the sites more therefore charges apply .if you don't like how a site charges we have the choice to stay or not
