Looking for a camp site near above venue. Attending a wedding there mid October . Will probably need to hire a car too :-(

Any advice gratefully received :)

Good size car park at your venue, have you asked ?? Google maps street view. A polite request often yields good results and doesn't cost. Would also look for nearby farms, farmers don't bite and again polite request etc. If they can't help they may know a neighbour who can. Maybe offer CL like overnight fee ??!! Or more if deperate.

Just had another look, the very next farm along the lane looks all converted to industrial use ask the venue holders if they have a phone number for this farm (farmer/business man)

Thanks for your reply but didn't explain very well . Would ask to stay but it is only the reception there ! Ceremony is 30km away hence the need for car hire. I am really looking for a site in the area near enough a town to hire a car ! Guess one of us is driving !!

Riigghhtt, Will have another look, are you caravan club or the other one ? Caravan club have nothing really close to Bath

Basically then you want a touring pitch anywhere near Bath (where you can hire a car ).
Newton Mill holiday park Tel:- 01225 333 909
Bath Marina and Caravan Park Tel:- 01225 4243o1
Or google them first. If you ask them I am sure they will give you a number for your hire car company. (y)

Thanks guys :) looks like Bath Marina is the best bet as car hire is walkable on same road as the site !! Not got a great write up but will do fine . Gee what an expensive part of the world !!! Camp sites , hotels , B&B !!

Hope you are both well Ray

Actually, why can't you take the van to the ceremony then use it to go to the reception venue, if they ok the overnight stay. Both of you can get tanked up and sober up at your leisure. (y):whistle:
