Morning all

Looking for suggestions for somewhere to go for Easter - 3 adults, one in awning, 2 small dogs - preferably walking distance to a dog friendly pub, maybe village/town nearby but nice off road walking more important.

Must have off lead dog walk onsite. Adult only preferable but not essential, looking for 'luxury' facilities.

We are in Dorset, so anywhere upto 3/4 hours drive is fine.

We have only done fairly local stuff up to now, so just wondering if anyone can suggest some lovely sites a bit further afield.

Cheers,

Jane

Have a look at Tudor caravan park in Gloucestershire,

Backing on to the Sharpness canal so good walks for the dog......Not sure

about off lead though.Public house at the entrance with descent grub and

"the boat house" where you get a cracking breakfast by the swing bridge.

Don't think its adult only but never had or seen a problem regarding kids.

One of our favourite sites for a couple of days away.

Hope this helps:)

While I'm on a roll.......Try Carvynick Country Club.Just outside Newquay

off the A30(If I remember correctly)Was solely for Rv's but now open to

all,Pub on site and great views over towards Newquay,Village of

Summercourt within walking distance and......I believe there is a back way

to visit the local retail outlet called Kingsley Village by foot.....You don't

want to be walking down the A30 to get to it,Had some lovely times there

over the years and plan to revisit now its been taken over and.......

I believe brought back to it's original high standard.

Regards.
