Shrewsbury Harlescott no more motorhome parking on carpark at side of Tesco.

We have just tried to get into the carpark opposite Tesco. I Know a few funsters use this as a stop over or for the ring and ride. They have today fitted height barriers on all entrances.

The best place to park a Motorhome in Shrewsbury is to use the Abbey Foregate car park.
Over height vehicles can use the Bus parking area. It is also the cheapest car park in Shrewsbury, and is only a 10 min walk into town over the English Bridge. There are also toilets in the car park.

Does this mean that you can't park to shop in Tesco anymore? We usually stop there to stock up when going to the meets at the showground.

Think its just the P&R bit at the side of Tesco, not Tesco itself

You can still get onto the tesco carpark itself we tried today but it was so busy couldn't get parked. So thought we would try at the side where u know a few campers use it as a stop over when they have come to meets for the showground. Think they have had a lot of trouble with gypsies in the past.
