OK hands up, I’m being lazy here,

I‘m looking to drive to Setubal in Portugal and chill out for a few days (I just need some scenery passing by the window) and having stayed in Setubal for a few days in 2018 it seems a good bet (lots of space with great beaches and few people)

I’m of the opinion that we can now get into France and Spain will be open from the 21st, and Portugal is already open.

I‘ll need to get back, and assume this will not be an issue, but then may (or may not) need to self isolate.

Any advice?

Will watch this with interest as we have always bypassed Setúbal.

Most Brits go straight to the Algarve, and I hope they keep doing so

Are you aware of the new law that came in last week in Portugal banning Motorhomes from wild camping.
It's all in the Covid bill they just passed hope it is only temporary.

Have a private site lined up, I was only there 5 nights but made some good friends

Spain's border is still closed with Portugal until at the earliest the 1st July at the request of the Portuguese government

Think you’ll find the whole decree relates only to beach areas (sea and inland) and to the rest of the 2020 season. (For now, at least.)

Don't tell everyone of the delights of Setubal, we were there 4 years ago it's a great place lots to see great beaches good places to eat and few tourists.
We hopefully will also heading there in September via the Douro

I was trying to keep a lid on it
