Hello gang.
I have a 04 autotrail Apache with the pump running light always on even though the pump is not running. Tried a reboot and still lit.
If anyone can help me I would be grateful. It's just a lamp but it's staring at me on a wet Welsh field, mocking.
Thanks Bubba

I have tried everything I can get to. All it can be now is the panel itself. Still shining at me with a smirk on its bulb.

Thanks for the reply.

We bought Monty end August last year and it was intermittent. The pump is the same and not had any work done on the water system but it is now always on. I have rebooted the sargent 3 panel and it's still on.

Sargent didn't know or couldn't be bothered to find out what the problem was.

On mine the light is controlled by a switch in the pump. Do you have a pressure operated pump? or do you have micro switches?

Pressure operated I believe. I can't see a microswitch anywhere either in the MH on on the circuit diagram.

It is on the pump, the pump has a wire from the motor side of the pump after the pressure switch which goes to the light

Sorry I have not explained it well. The.pump.has a pressure operated switch that turns on the pump, the light should be connected to the pump connector after the switch, so it lights up when the pump runs. It doesn't have a separate switch for the light

Ok. I gather the relay type thing at the bottom also controls it then.

Looking at you pump it is not wired correctly, the 3 wires are live earth and the indicator light. The earth just goes to earth (negative) the 12 v goes to the switch the pump motor goes to the other side of the switch along with the indicator light. It looks as if the indicator is wired to the 12vfeed so it will be on all the time the pump is powered, whether it's running or not.
It should be an easy fix
