Lots but slow learner.
On another thread about vans being nicked got me thinking as to what/which system i should be having installed on our new van when it's delivered in a couple of month's.
Prefer the systems that have non or a one off 3/4 year payment when installed.

We went for the Vanbitz Strikeback/Growler Motorhome specific alarm with Tracker & Non-Starter.

I know you’ve been considering & researching a change of van for a while, what are you going for?

Ditto for me as well. Like the location map showing me where it is, handy when you have had too much to drink and cannot find it, plus the feature of the ping you get warning you it has been moved outside of where it is - Geofence (which I always forget when I pick it up from storage)

I would do some research into Thatcham approval then decide what to do.

We have put a deposit on a Bailey Autograph 79-4T. Delivery end June (although i'll show my bottom in Burtons window if that date is kept)
It was a case the Bailey won by default. I had looked at 100's of vans, the Baileys layout suited us best. Got fed up of looking.

I will look at that Growler thing.

Me too for the vanbitz growler/Non starter👍👍

Vanbitz for us, real specialists.
We were there three weeks ago, had a Growler, Solar Panel, Immobilizer and a Tracker.First class job, second van we have had their kit fitted in.Last van we kept more than six years Their installation worked seamlessly the whole time.Always available to give advice and using the Funster discount, no more expensive than anywhere else.

Our current van has an Auto watch 695 can. and a Smart Track cat 5 which can shut the engine off by them when the police have caught up with them😁 3 years old now and both faultless.
The new van coming at the end of year is coming with a Phantom sentinel s5 it about the only freebee I could get out of the dealer.

We were given the Phantom brochure at Don Amott when we ordered our new van last week. I put the brochure straight into file 13. Don't know if they are good, bad or indifferent.

We drove our new van from the dealers forecourt 200 miles to VanBitz

Spent our first night in the campsite next door
Delivered our van at 9am and then walked into Taunton
Spent the day in Taunton buying bedding, kitchens stuff etc. for the new van
Got the van back fully alarmed and tracked
Spent our 2nd night at the campsite next door
and then drove 200 miles home

Not only did they fit the alarm and tracker, they also fitted a GasLow system, a solar panel and a battery master, all in a single day.

If I was buying another new van tomorrow, I'd do exactly the same thing again.

Note:
Book up VanBitz as soon as you have a delivery date, as they often have a waiting list several weeks long.

Tell them at the time of booking to get your discount.

We got the Growler but didn’t bother with the tracker. (y)
