So I’ve had a cupboard built in my van, however it’s been built as a normal cupboard with a push button open and locking system on the outside.

Not a problem, but I want to put a portable toilet in the cupboard, and just realised that the door can’t be secured from the inside.

I was thinking of putting a simple small bolt in, but the wall and door are not flush, so then thought if a “hook & eye” , but then thought when in motion the thing will be rattling around.

Ideally I need some sort of suction cups or Velcro type thing to secure the door when inside the cupboard - any recommendations?

Thanks
Dave

I will resist any "when in motion" jokes ;) surely it would be easy to put something to stop thehook rattling while travelling, if its a steel hook it could sit against some of that sticky backed magnet stuff.

Hi not sure I am understanding this but here goes, if you have a push button catch then you can buy a double catch to replace the existing. You simply have another button on the inside that you pull to lock.

That sounds like what I need - didn’t think I could replace the one already inside! I’ll pop a photo on later
