Secret Santa 2018

Welcome to the Annual Fun Secret Santa.

Our festive mission to spread goodwill and joy or maybe, sheer terror to one another, through the spirit of giving and receiving. Essentially it will work like this

1. Register your interest here we’ll need your username real name and address.
2. Then tell us that you've agreed to be a Secret Santa in this thread.

The closing date for registering will be the 23rd November, and a few days after that we will match you all up and you will receive the details of the person you will play Santa to. You’ll then have a little time to stalk your victim recipient, learning a little about them, check their post history etc and find them the perfect gift.

You can spend what you like but you must spend a minimum of £10 not including your post and packing and you must ensure it's posted in time for Christmas.

The gift can be anything, it can be funny, lovely, poignant, and …. Well let’s just say, knowing some of you, be careful where you open your secret Santa, the contents might not be suitable for children to see. But essentially send what you like, play it for laughs or be sincere. It's up to you. It is Christmas

Place a Big SMILEY on the envelope so the recipient knows what it is. You will then post the present to reach them before Christmas. Then, while still keeping things a secret, post in this thread to say you have posted. Now you just sit back and wait for Christmas.

When you receive a gift, you'll need to come back here and post an amazing thank you note, hopefully with photos!

It's supposed to be a secret, Secret Santa's if they must, can identify who they are when they send the gift but they don't have to and most won't. Though of course Siân and I will know who's who and you should know we are terrible at keeping secrets.

1. Don’t be a Dick. If you join the secret Santa make sure you buy and send off your present in good time for Christmas.
