I've had motorhomes for the past 10 years, was stood looking at my Ducato based Autotrail in the pouring rain yesterday watching the water cascading down the windscreen & had a sudden thought :Eeek: I put a lightweight tarpaulin over screen & trapped it in doors, water now doesn't run into the scuttle! Why didn't I do that before? What I now need is a lightweight (cheapish) fitted screen cover that also goes over the bonnet vents, any suggestions please? It's a 2010 Ducato base.

An alternative option is magnetic vinyl sections over the scuttle area to reduce concern for that area but not having tried this don't know how much water may still get through? A Funster wiljoy makes this sort of thing Broken Link Removed & another Funster makes this https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/classifieds/ducato-engine-water-deflecter.1114/
Picking up one of these branded screen covers https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/foru...ens-4-brands-to-consider.196105/#post-4222128 secondhand in longer length for winter storage is another popular option. Don't know much about lighter weight covers but they might flip up & let water in windy or stormy weather unless secured in some way.
