This our first!!
Hello all,

We haven't used our dish for a while but now when we start the search function the dish opens up as per normal. It then moves up and down searching for a satellite but won't rotate at all.
I've had a good look and there doesn't seem to be anything obstructing the mechanism.
Before I give the local MH workshop some more money is there anything that anyone can recommend we try?
Tried posting a video but it was too large for the forum

Hi there. Take off the dome lid if its that type. Remove the belt that drives the turn table for rotation. Operate the remote for search and find. Check if motor works ok. If motor is seen to be working..check out rotation of the disc by turning it by hand with the rubber belt removed. If any restriction is felt( and it may be) Wd 40 and spray liberally the centre where it goes into the top and lower bearing and help it move by hand. When it freely turns ...connect belt and try again with motor running. All should be ok.We had a Camos that stopped turning. We contacted the guys down Northampton and they explained what to do...It worked fine afterwards.
Obviously...If an Oyster type, Remove the lower cover and check the same. It is belt driven the same way.

Thank you. Not sure I understand all of what you suggest but will definitely give it a go...
