Sargent E450 - ‘clicking’

Hi
Away at present and have space heating on. The Sargent unit has started to rapidly ‘click’ with the battery amp reading jumping up and down! Switching the space heating off, stops the clicking.
Any advice appreciated,

Could be low voltage from the battery.

Battery is fully charged, running the heating puts load on the battery and pulls the voltage down, charger "sees" the battery is no longer full so cuts in but very quickly the battery voltage shows it as full so the charger cuts out and the cycle begins again. Switch the battery charger off for a few hours.

Thanks for the reply. It did stop ‘clicking’ after a while but restarted randomly and kept stopping after a while. Will certainly heed your advice regarding charger, cheers
