On my Sargent control panel I can no longer scroll through Leisure battery and water status etc

It shows vehicle battery as selected and will not swop to any other options.

Scratching my head, can only think that the Sargent unit has given up the ghost, but maybe you guys have a clue?

Take the panel off and disconnect the plug at the back, wait a few mins then try it again. That's what Sargents told me to do when my panel went a bit cranky.

Thanks, I'll try that in a bit.

I have the EC480 panel and the the outside bezel just prises off and then a couple of small screws to remove it completely, the small plug can be a be a bit of a bugger as it has a locking clip.

I’ve just chased mine down on the net it’s also an EC480, once SWMBO gets up I’ll try to get it out and unplug it, if it’s a faff I’ll leave it till we get home tomorrow

I can’t help with the panel.

But I would advise against scratching your head.
You’ll get splinters 😉😂

Too late Rich, I’m looking for tweezers as we speak.

HI
Not sure if you are referring to the small panel on the control unit or a remote panel. If it is the one on top of the Sargent box with yellow and red buttons, it could be a failed switch. My yellow button switch is on its last legs and takes a dozen clicks to change display. When I have a spare hour or two I will change the pcb switch.

Does putting the main control distribution panel into shutdown not do the same thing? Think it might as you lose all the clock settings but ......?

Yes it does and worth a try. Unplugging the cable re-seats it when you plug it in again.

Geoff

It’s the remote unit.

I’ll try that, I’ve not done anything so far as the day just turned into a nightmare tbh.

Shut it down and waited a few minutes, then restarted all back to normal.

Thanks guys

Happy days(y)
