santander port check in - how early? (1 Viewer)

I'd be grateful for up to date info regarding how early you can check into the brittany ferry port.
In the past it was open from 9am for an afternoon ferry - you could then access via a turnstile with your cabin ticket and go eat/visit in town - there's a great fish restaurant in the port.
Recent e-mail to BF suggest only 3 hours now allowed.
Any update? I have 2 hours ride from hotel to port for 17.00 ferry.

We travelled back on the 11th August and I am fairly sure that parking was allowed from 9 am, we got an email a few days before.

Just rang BF today 26/06/2022 and early check-in from 0930 available.
I will update after 1500 tomorrow

I live in plymouth city centre, if you can’t leave your van whilst you visit the delights that Plymouth has to offer, pm me I know a few spots to hide the van where it’s close to the port & town centre, I can even give you a parking permit if you need it

Turnstile still there. We used it a fortnight ago.

Just got back from Santander, the info says 9.30 am. The turnstile is still in use to enter the town area.

I used the Santander-Portsmouth ferry for the first time, last Wednesday (in my car), boarding was ok, but getting off at Portsmouth was organised chaos.

Whilst the ferry docked dead on time 20:00hrs, I was still sitting dockside 3/4 of an hour later..
