To improve visits to Salisbury their park and ride facilities are currently free
We went yesterday and had a lovely day.
Just emailed about parking a motorhome and ride 9, Britford on Downton Road, Salisbury has no height restrictions.

Nice place, Salisbury. We had a weekend there a couple of years ago on the way down south.
If there were any real danger from Novichok far more people would have fallen ill then the two unfortunate people who picked up a perfume bottle.

Did you look at the spire?
Only from a distance I don’t do heights. Didn’t bother with the Magna Carta either as there was a long queue of students. Went to monpressor house and did a bit of retail therapy and got some new walking shoes

I have been to Salisbury recently and I am not dead.

The Cathedral is nice. Best font I have ever seen. Flat water surface gives a perfect reflection of the ceiling, unless some idiot has drowned their handbag on what they thought was a mirror (which would be even more fun).

You should be able to park your 'Pride n Joys' in the College car park which is funnily enough opposite Salisbury College on the A36. We have used it during the day,Pay and Display but I asked the council if you'd be able to stay overnight and the response was, you can but at the far end. Bonus is ... it should be free parking from 6pm to 8am. Hope this helps and boosts Salisburys economy as it truly is a lovely City to visit...and no I'm not Russian and don't have the funds to live in Salisbury.

Anyone know if the Beehive one (on A345 on Northside of Sal) has height restrictions.

I think the one thing we didn't look at was the cathedral.
I'm allergic to incense so we avoid places like that.
Unfortunately not funny @Janine :-) If I am exposed to incense it gives me flu like symptoms for more or less exactly a fortnight, only relieved to an extent by taking antihistamine.

The car park opposite the college in Salisbury has a height barrier at 2.1m, and is width restricted as well. No chance of getting a moho in there!

All the Park and rides are free until Christmas. The ordinary car parks are free from 3pm monday until saturday and all day sunday until christmas. They are going to review again then.

Blimey, when did they put the height barrier up opposite the college?

Cathedral great , my mates Billski and Benski have told me after a quick visit
