Saga insurance

My policy is due for renewal in January and having been doing some research, cheapest so far , all things being as equal as poss, is Comfort at £350 and the dearest is Saga at £1350!!!!

I have shares in Saga so I tend to give them a chance on policies. So far they have never been close

So far Saga have been very good & competitive price wise for us but big changes ahead with all insurance so not expecting it to always be that way.

Saga used to insure the boat and were competitive and easy to deal with, but have pulled out of boat insurance completely even for existing customers. Sounds like they want to shed Motorhome business as well.

I rang them about caravan insurance. All polite and going well till “single or twin axle”?

“We don’t insure twin axles”

Why not?

So basically they will insure anything that won’t get nicked
