I have been posting on a thread in Facebook on this very subject. Just to recap. It's a restriction on camping not parking. These are two distinct activities in Spanish Law.
In the resources section you will, if interested, find the Law (in Spanish and English) that covers this activity. Of course if the plod ask you to move on, you would , if wise, do so without question. I am not aware of any member who has been fined for camping in any of these restricted places and I suspect the fines are a threat and/or the plod give a warning before considering imposing a fine.
I have been getting confused!! The No Camping signs are at Playa Serena, the posh end of Roquetas. Have any signs gone up on the rough ground the other end at Playa Salinas?
The area has been closed with fences. There are many motorhomes parked along streets and at some spots closer to the beach, but it's no longer as used to be.
I do live in this neighbourhood and it was common to see caravaners spreading their camping stuff outside motorhomes, which is forbiden. But, despite local goverment was not pretty strict on that, I've heared from neighbours there were people managing black and grey waters in an inapropiated way.
