Hi All
Just taking on the task of cleaning the roof it’s not too bad as I cleaned it before putting it away for the winter.
However this time I have some black specs on the surface which I’m struggling to remove. I’ve picked off some of the larger ones it has the texture of tar. It’s not stored near any trees. I’ve tried black streak remover and a brush but it’s not touching it!
Any tips for removing?

Hot soapy water and possibly dilute some cillit bang mold remover. I used a brush like the attached and scrub, scrub, scrub. Then use the streak cleaner once most of the dirt gone. It worked for me and ours was revolting.

Thanks
I’m now scrubbing but it’s 23 degrees I’m gonna get off what I can and have another bash when it’s cooler!
Thanks for the tips guys! I need cold beer!??

Did ours a few days ago, it was covered in the hard black stuff that forms after a few years.

Used Snowfoam left for about 20-25 minutes which softened it up, then power washer with correct Vehicle nozzle.

Came up a treat.

Muck off, the stuff you use to clean bikes with. Spray on agitate and rinse well after doing it. (y)

Long soak is the answer. Followed by “elbow grease” from £1 shop
It worked for me
