Roof bed

Anyone know how to remove gas strut full length roof bed from pop top camper van? Having been away for first time in it have decided I would be better with out it.
Would apprecIate any advice.

gas strut usually just lever of some have a clip you release first

Some have a very small wire clip that is fed in to a hole in the 'cup' the ball sits in
It is easier to feel than to see usually
Feel around the cup for a wee sticky out bit

Many thanks to those who responded. Neighbour and I took it out in 20mins. Did ask for help from local Reimo converters but not very helpful. Lucky really as probably saved me some money
