Hi all I,m a newbie looking to buy my first mh, i've just lost my c1 cat due to renewing on line and expecting a long delay before being able to retrieve it! Anyway so I'm looking at 3500 mh,s and have seen lots of roller team motor homes at very reasonable prices! Can anyone advise if they are any good thanks

I've got a good one.
2001 model, 5 berth, 6 belts ( 4 inertia and 2 lap), overcab bed, mid dinette with single table to the rear.
Fiat Ducato 1.9d, RH drive with habitation door on drivers side.
Not the fastest, not the best looking, but for a 20year old van at 45k, and looking at some of today's newer stuff, with poor payloads and carrying passenger restrictions, she is Great for our needs.
Give a dry, older van TLC, and you could be on to a winner.
Just DONT rush. It maybe a seller's market at the moment.
If you can, wait for the tide to turn to a buyer's market and possibly get more bang for your buck.
Good luck.

I had a Auto Roller 100 for 3 years from brand new and it was a brilliant van with fixed bed and 800kg of pay load.

Hi Johne6452 We bought a new 2019 Rollerteam T590, only really used it for a year so far. We find it extremely reliable and comfortable, does everything we want and has everything we need. There's only two of us so storage etc. is adequate. As others have mentioned, do plenty of research but if you require further specific info please feel free to ask.

We have a T Line 590.
Love it.
Very easy to drive and park.
Good space and storage for such a small van.
Everything works.
Really well kitted out for the money compared to other brands.
Bike rack, solar etc. as standard.
Very comfy bed.

We have the 690 6 berth 6 seatbelts with garage bought from new 4 years ago.
I think they are excellent value for money considering what you get against the same style van with a different name. Quality is presumably less, however if you have not had the quality before then you dont miss it !
The only issues we have had are the air conditioning pipe came out. We have had to buy some clips for the blinds (£2) due to being not very good, We have replaced a wall plug on another blind, (not even a penny)
A few design things that you just get round and suspect similar in other vans.
3,500 kgs is not enough weight for 2 people and a motorbike for this van so is uprated to 4,100 kgs. I think I had just about enough weight to take her with me, so possible but you would forever be concerned about weight and would need to travel VERY light
I would buy one again if that helps

Nothing wrong with them, lots of hire fleets run them as they are cheap vans

They look like good value for money but they do suffer with damp problems (friends have one) so if buying S/H you need to check carefully.

Bought ours new 11 years ago, nothing gone wrong (Just standard maintenance) and still love it, Haven’t changed it haven’t found anything better and worried about buying something else with problems. The question I ask myself For years “would I enjoy it more by Upgrading another £30k?” Roller team are under the same parent company as autotrail.
