Hi all,

please can anyone tell me when the C&CC starts selling tickets for the Royal International Air Tattoo, I would prefer the field near the runway so we don't have to go into the show on all days

The C&CC and the C&MC both have rally sites on the same farm.
The sites are just across the road that runs past the airfield and much of the flying action takes place overhead so the viewing is good.
The C&MC use the top field ie. closer to the airfield (there is a small overflow field across the road and right against the airfield fence) and the C&CC use the field at the bottom of the access track ie. a little further from the runway.
Because of trees you can't see the airfield itself or the aircraft when landing and taking off but as soon as they are airborne they will come into view.
Sitting outside the MoHo in the sun, with the displays overhead, and listening to the commentary on the radio is the most comfortable way to watch an airshow that I know of.
