Reversing Camera Monitor?

I fitted a dual reversing cameras a few years ago but sadly in bright conditions the brightness of the monitor leaves much to be desired.
I assume that a few years on the performance of monitors has improved.
Is there any advice or recommendations out there as to the best and brightest monitors for this purposes?

Does your monitor also act as a rear-view ‘mirror’, or is it purely for reversing……?

It's dual purpose, there are 2 cameras and you can adjust them as required. In my case one acts as a rear view mirror and the other shows the 6 ft or so behind the van. There is a tiny remote to switch the monitor which I have stuck to the dashboard. All fine but the monitor is not bright enough.

I have this one on my daily drive...Mercedes Vito camper. Just recently it has started showing a blue screen and no view

I have the same monitor and have improved visibility somewhat by putting on a non reflective screen film, meant for laptops. Prior to this if the sun was shining on me all I could see was my own reflection.
